One day I was on basketball court to play basketball I am quite a good player, but that time no one was willing to play with me on their side because they didn’t know me they don’t trust my game. And I started getting bored and left playing and go for prayers. After prayers I was so happy, I had a great encounter with God and I thought if the people had trusted me and put me on their team as I badly wanted to play I wouldn’t be this happy I realized God needed me there in prayers than in the basketball court; and I also needed to meet my Daddy more than a game.
It reminded me my o’ level prayers, where my prayers were God make me a basketball player that the world has never seen, yet I don’t have an idea on how many times I dodged church because of basketball but it is too much; and if I could dodge church yet I was not even the best in my school, no idea of how many times I was about to dodge when I am the best player in my city.
1JOHN 5:14 and this is the confidence that we have in Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He heareth us (KJV). We should learn to understand the will of God to our lives and the necessary thing about that is that in Jeremiah 29:11 ensures that the plans of God are to prosper us and not to harm us and give us hope and future. He is the Father I must be where He wants me to be, He wants people to be saved and know the truth (1 Tim 2;3-4) . God doesn’t love only He is love, love never fails He loves us to death.
We must be thankful in each and everything be it circumstances, trials or good times. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to CHRIST JESUS (NLT).
He will never leave us nor forsake us. We need to trust Him because He is faithful, and trustworthy He is God and not a man to forget His promises. The bible tells us that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).
We have life assurance in God because Jesus is the Life and resurrection. Romans 8:32 He that spared not His own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?
